Does this really happen? How the falling apart of the left is fueling the rise of conservatism in the U.S.

views

Matt Edwards and Josh Turnbo don’t waste any time in the latest episode of WorldNetDaily Live talking about how the chaos on the American left is getting worse and worse. From anti-American protests on college campuses to shocking acts of political violence against businesses, the news cycle doesn’t seem like a series of separate events. Instead, it feels like a constant attack on culture. For many Republicans, these scenes are not only scary, they make them want to do something. They show that there will be a reckoning, a course correction based on patriotism, common sense, and the clear need to revive America’s core values.

The hosts set the tone right away by saying they couldn’t believe how quickly and badly things were happening. Even though they are frustrated, you can feel their determination. They know, as should all Americans who value freedom, that we are living in a moment that will change the course of history. The chaos is not a fluke. It’s planned out. It’s what will happen because of decades of leftist policies, identity politics, and Marxists getting into America’s most important organizations. But even though everything is broken, there is hope. There are more awake Americans now than ever before.

Columbia University Is a Small Example of Cultural Rot

This is best shown by the most recent protests at Columbia University. Columbia was once known for its top-notch academics, but now it’s a playground for radical activists who seem to think that privilege gives you moral power. Even after the horrible events of October 7th, when terrorists killed innocent Israeli people, these students still openly support Palestinian causes, often with slogans and language that are hard to tell apart from support for Hamas.

The hosts are right to point out how hypocritical these protests are. These people are not oppressed people standing up against injustice; they are Ivy League students, many of whom come from wealthy families, acting like revolutionaries in the comfort of their own homes. The protests are disorderly, annoying, and getting more violent, but university leaders who no longer care about truth or justice are not punishing them. Instead, they are giving them special treatment.

Columbia’s scene is more than just embarrassing. It’s an alert. The very structure of the country is in danger when elite organizations praise anger over gratitude, radicalism over reason, and chaos over order.

Mahmud Khalil and the Issue of Outside Agitators

The arrest of Mahmud Khalil, a well-known protest organizer and British student at Columbia on a visa, is an especially telling event. The fact that Khalil was detained shows a major flaw in the way America handles immigration and student visas. This is a flaw that the left freely takes advantage of.

It should anger every American that someone from another country can come to the US, get a top-notch education, and then lead protests that are almost tantamount to rebellion. Still, this is the exact kind of crazy behavior we’ve come to expect. The left says that everyone who comes to the United States should be a citizen and enjoy all the rights that come with it, but they are also trying to destroy the idea of citizenship itself.

It makes sense that foreigners who stir up trouble should be quickly removed, as suggested by Edwards, Turnbo, President Trump, and Senator Marco Rubio. America doesn’t have to pay for the schooling or political theater of people who are clearly working against its own interests. Protecting the country starts with keeping its institutions safe from people who want to destroy them.

What’s Going on with Visas and American Independence

This conversation easily turns into a more general attack on the U.S. immigration system as a whole. There is a globalist left that wants to get rid of all the differences between citizens and non-citizens. They use things like student visas, work visas, and refugee claims as weapons.

If a country is independent, it has the right and even the duty to decide who can come and stay. In spite of this, the Biden government and the media that support it see any attempt to enforce immigration laws as immoral rather than necessary for the country. They cry for activists who have been removed while ignoring the real pain of American families who have been destroyed by crime, illegal immigration, and job loss.

It’s clear what conservatives believe: citizenship is valuable, borders matter, and loyalty to America should be a must, not a nice-to-have.

Made-Up Anger: The Astroturfed Protests

As film of the protests in Columbia plays, it becomes painfully clear that a lot of the anger is fake. Professional activists, who get their money from shady NGOs and leftist billionaires, organize, put up signs, and know how to work with the media to make small complaints into national spectacles.

This is not a natural process. They are staged events that are meant to make the country less stable and push a plan that most Americans don’t agree with. The trend is the same for all of these pro-Palestinian protests, from Black Lives Matter to Antifa to these most recent ones: they are planned, persistent, and have nothing to do with the values of average Americans.

The conservative reaction needs to be just as well planned and determined. We need to reject the false stories, back up our police, and hold institutions responsible for allowing and justifying this madness.

Trump, Rubio, and the Need to Act Quickly

Thank goodness there are leaders who are ready to fight. President Trump, Senator Rubio, and other brave conservatives have called for the instant deportation of foreign terrorists and harsher punishments for people who try to start an uprising in the United States.

It’s not about shutting down criticism; it’s about keeping the country stable. Free speech does not include calling for violence or overthrowing the government. People who are conservative know that freedom without order is not freedom at all; it’s chaos, and authority grows in chaos.

Chaos and fear are good for the left. We can only get back the rule of law and protect the freedoms we value if the law is enforced in a clear and uniform way.

The USAID and the Greed Culture

The episode also brings to light the disturbing news that USAID workers were told to burn and shred papers while the agency was closed. Officials say it’s just normal business, but the time and circumstances make it seem like something else.

Getting rid of documents during highly sensitive times is a common way to hide wrongdoing. It makes me wonder what USAID was trying to hide, but the corporate media don’t seem to want to ask those questions.

Conservatives have been warning for a long time that the huge federal government system is full of corruption. Left-wing extremists often take over agencies like USAID that are supposed to support American values abroad. These extremists put globalist goals ahead of national interests.

It’s not enough to just choose good leaders in Washington to clean house. It means getting rid of the bureaucracies that are too powerful and don’t care about the people they’re meant to serve.

Political violence: attacks on Tesla and the rise of extremism on the left

The attacks on Tesla dealerships, where Molotov cocktails and graffiti have taken the place of discussion and protest, may be the scariest part. A transgender person has been charged by the federal government with involvement in the attacks. This shows how dangerously radicalized some activist groups have become.

Instead of condemning everyone, the mainstream media’s coverage is quiet, uses euphemisms, and seems to understand the perpetrators’ claimed problems. Even “conservative” news sites like Fox News use leftist language when they talk about the suspect, calling her a “transgender woman” instead of giving the true picture.

As we saw on January 6th, the media establishment has no morals at all. They are happy to support violent left-wing groups while making fun of peaceful conservative action.

Supporting Elon Musk and standing up for businesses that are under attack sends a strong message: we will not stand for political violence, and we will not leave America’s entrepreneurs and creators behind.

Rosie O’Donnell’s Exile on Her Own and Celebrity Hypocrisy

The funnier parts of the show are when they talk about Rosie O’Donnell’s planned move to Ireland. This is a funny but expected move for a star who has been threatening to leave the U.S. for years because of conservative election wins.

The irony is that the United States is one of the most accepting, wealthy, and free countries in the world, even though it is in bad shape right now. O’Donnell’s action is a good example of a larger trend: celebrities who complain about America’s supposed wrongs while enjoying its unmatched benefits.

It’s important to see their empty threats and empty actions for what they are: virtue signaling, not sacrifice. Someone on the right is ready to stay, rebuild, and take back the country they love for every leftist who goes.

Using language as a weapon in the media

The show keeps coming back to the idea of how important language is. It’s possible that liberals understand this better than conservatives: who controls the words controls the story. When even media outlets going conservative use progressive language without question, they give up important ground.

Some words, like “transgender woman,” “undocumented immigrant,” and “gender-affirming care,” are not neutral. These words have hidden meanings that are meant to sneak in ideological ideas. Conservatives need to avoid these language mistakes and push for truth and clarity.

Language is more than just being nice. People think, vote, and act differently because of it. If you want to win the cultural fight, you have to stop speaking the left’s language.

Trump, the Cybertruck, and Being able to Connect

During a more humorous part, President Trump is seen looking at Tesla’s Cybertruck and joking that it moves like a golf cart, which he knows very well.

These lighthearted times are more than just funny. They make Trump seem more like a person in a way that his opponents can’t do. For the left, elitism and moral superiority are everything. Trump, on the other hand, connects with regular Americans through fun, relatability, and plainspoken common sense.

At a time when many leaders seem distant and condescending, one of Trump’s best qualities is still how real he is.

Putting Americans First: Getting People Back to Work

The important need to put American workers ahead of illegal aliens is also brought up. This is not racism; it’s just good business sense. Businesses have taken advantage of cheap foreign labor at the cost of American workers for too long, especially in fields like construction and agriculture.

This trend is meant to be stopped by patriotic hiring efforts pushed by conservative leaders. They know that a strong economy needs a thriving middle class, not a never-ending source of cheap labor that can be used for any purpose.

Putting people first is not just smart politics. It’s the right thing to do. It respects the worth of work and the independence of the country.

What Chuck Schumer Does and How Politicians Betrayal

Trump makes fun of Senator Chuck Schumer by calling him a “Palestinian.” He does this to make fun of Schumer’s alleged betrayal of American and Jewish values in favor of extreme leftist causes.

Schumer’s change shows how the Democratic Party’s traditional alliances are falling apart. In the name of liberalism, the party of Roosevelt and Kennedy has turned into the party of open borders, cultural Marxism, and anti-Semitism.

Conservatives should use this chance to present a real alternative: a politics based on faith, family, and freedom that stands firm in its support of Western culture.

The Campus Crisis: Teaching liberal ideas and the End of Hard Work

The last part of the show goes back to how modern higher education keeps these problems going. Universities today are more like mills than places to learn. They turn out graduates who are rude, angry, and not ready for the real world.

Students are told to conform instead of having tough arguments. They are taught beliefs instead of how to think critically. So they don’t love their country, they are taught to hate it.

Conservatives shouldn’t just say bad things about college; they should also come up with options. There is a lot of room for a new American renaissance in homeschooling, trade schools, classical colleges, and online education.

Less news and problems that won’t go away

The hosts say that the news cycle has slowed down a bit, but they warn people not to get too comfortable. Immigration, schooling, media bias, and political violence are some of the most important problems that will not go away. They are just changing.

A short-lived anger won’t lead to victory. It will happen through long-term, disciplined, patriotic effort. It will come from building, not just complaining. People who are brave, have faith, and are devoted to the American dream will achieve it.
